JB wanted to improve the efficiency of 'safety management', a core task of the city gas business, and 'pipe safety management', which requires a lot of resources.
The existing human resource-based management system has the problem of having blind spots in terms of accident prevention and crisis response.
JB's 'Pipe Safety Management Solution' solves these existing problems with an unreported excavation detection module and distributed channel integration.
The 'Unreported Excavation Detection Module' constantly monitors pipeline safety through CCTV, detects only excavators that are 'under construction' and not parked, and compares them with EOCS information to select unreported cases. These selected unreported cases are reported to the city gas company's situation room and the field to enable accident prevention.
Distributed channel integration includes various modules such as management of reported and unreported excavation work, real-time recording and diagnosis of patrol inspections, and voice communication.
The above modules have in common that they are easy to manage records and can be used efficiently to respond to crises.

Detection of unreported excavation work
It learns about 18,000 images based on CCTV and selects only excavators under construction (excluding moving and parking) with an accuracy of over 95%. And if necessary, it compares it with the information of excavation work reported to EOCS and filters out unreported cases.
This selected information is then delivered to applications optimized for the situation room and field staff, enabling immediate response.

Strengthening patrol inspection and diagnosis
By utilizing location information, you can check the confirmed and unconfirmed pipes in real time during the patrol inspection, which can be used as a reference for eliminating vulnerable sections. The situation room can obtain insight into the patrol inspection at the current time, diagnose the management system, and use it to improve and supplement it.
